Running for 287 daysAadidasHow many days it has been running
The longer it runs, the more likely it’s getting results: nobody pays for months for an ad that doesn’t sell. At 90 days or more, it gets the “90+ days” badge.
Guide
The Meta Ad Library shows, for free, the ads any company is running right now. Here’s how to search it, step by step, and how to tell which of those ads are selling.
Meta’s public page where anyone can search the ads that are running: the image or video, the copy, the date each one started and where it runs.
Anyone can search it, without paying or logging in.
Facebook and Instagram ads from any company: the store, the clinic, the online course.
Outside the EU and the UK, it only shows the ads running now: an ad that stops drops out of the search. Only ads about social issues, elections or politics stay, for 7 years.
A new ad shows up in the library within 24 hours of being shown for the first time.
An example, from start to finish: the dental implant ads running in the United States.
Under “Search ads”, pick the country and, in “Ad category”, “All ads”. Without the category, the search doesn’t open.
In “Search by keyword or advertiser”, type what the ad says, like “dental implant”, or the name of the advertiser’s page.
In “Filters”: the language, the advertiser, the platform, the media type (image or video), the active status and the dates.
The date it started (“Started running on…”), the platforms and, when it has several versions, how many ads use the same creative. The full ad opens in “See ad details”.
The library shows ads one by one. What tells you which ones are working, and what’s behind each one, is left out:
Want to see the days running and the scaling ads right inside the library? Meet the Spymine ad spy extension
Meta (Instagram and Facebook) doesn’t show how much each ad sells. But advertisers who keep paying for an ad leave signals — and Spymine shows them on every ad. The examples below are from today.
Free, with no sign-up. When you want the full search, try it free for 7 days.
